This combination is amazing. Growing up I always said no to anything that contained Papaya due to the smell. I have since come to appreciate just how amazing this fruit is on it’s own and also together with other ingredients. Papaya is a rich sources of antioxidant nutrients such as carotenes, vitamin C, B vitamins, folate, and the minerals potassium, copper, and magnesium. The list goes on!
We use our 4MyEarth Food Bag to keep our frozen pieces of papaya, bananas and pineapple in the freezer.
• 1 cup frozen or fresh Papaya
• 1 cup frozen or fresh Pineapple
• 1 frozen banana or fresh, if you want extra thickness use frozen bananas
• ¾ cup of your choice of milk. eg almond or coconut milk is delicious!
• 1 cup ice cubes
Depending on what type of blender you may have to start off blending your fruit first then adding in ice cubes and milk. I normally blend up my frozen fruit first and then add in my ice and milk.
